Job Title: Informatica Developer

At Numeric Technologies, we are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to join our team. As an Informatica Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and Data Quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and Data Quality.
  • Configure and maintain Informatica environments, including multiple domain setups with high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Conduct detailed performance analysis, capacity planning, and system tuning to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Implement security settings and access controls using LDAP integration and Informatica's native capabilities to meet rigorous compliance standards.
  • Regularly audit the system and implement security patches and updates in response to vulnerability alerts.
  • Execute detailed ETL performance tuning, including session tuning and optimization of mappings, workflows, and data loads.
  • Establish and maintain grid configurations for load balancing and parallel processing.
  • Plan and execute upgrades of Informatica products, ensuring compatibility with existing data warehouse and BI applications.
  • Conduct regression testing and performance benchmarks on new software versions to ensure stability before deployment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in managing Informatica environments.
  • Expert knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, Data Quality, and other Informatica enterprise data management products.
  • In-depth understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and database design principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting and automation.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications such as Informatica Certified Professional (ICP) or similar.
  • Experience with additional ETL tools like Talend, DataStage, or SSIS.
  • Knowledge of Python or Java for process automation and enhancements.
  • Familiarity with cloud data integration strategies and architectures in Azure, or GCP.
