Distribution Design Engineer Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical engineering and experience with distribution systems. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively with project stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed plans for power distribution systems, including layouts and equipment specifications.
  • Analyze and interpret complex distribution project scopes to develop clear, efficient, and safe engineering solutions.
  • Specify and select appropriate equipment for distribution infrastructure, including reclosers, PMEs, fuses, switches, disconnects, and other essential components.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Electrical engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • 3+ years of experience in power distribution design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and other design software is a plus.
