We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a key member of our Operating Room Float Pool, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including medication administration and wound care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical histories.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Delaware.
- Three years or more of Operating Room Registered Nurse experience.
- BSN required or commitment to acquiring within three years of the date of hire.
- CNOR certification is a plus.
