About the Position

We are currently seeking a talented Packaging Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in the United States. In this role, you will work closely with regional teams and central departments to provide exceptional structural design services. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from initial design ideation to the creation of final technical drawings and prototypes, ensuring our offerings consistently meet client standards. You will engage in both new project development and modifications of existing designs, utilizing your technical knowledge to manage specifications, uphold product quality, and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with the Sourcing Manager and Central Design team.
  • Engage with clients and service teams to clarify project requirements.
  • Present structural design proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize CAD software such as Artios, Cinema 4D, and Illustrator.
  • Create compelling presentations in PowerPoint to highlight design concepts.
  • Develop 3D structural solutions based on client specifications.
  • Operate CAD cutters and digital printers for prototype production.
  • Conduct thorough weight testing to validate designs.
  • Provide sampling support as required for both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the display and procurement services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of various material substrates.
  • Proficiency in creating technical drawings.
  • Experience in client or supplier-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with print and managed services, including marketing production and point of sale.
  • A proven history of structural design in marketing, retail, or FMCG sectors.
