At Comprehensive Care, our caregivers serve as the essential frontline representatives in providing quality support. As a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA, your primary responsibility will be to assist the elderly, vulnerable, and disabled individuals who often require help with daily activities. It is imperative to prioritize the needs of the clients and perform the following responsibilities with the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in their personalized care plans. These activities may encompass bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting, transferring, eating, and continence care.
  • Assist with medication management, housekeeping tasks, laundry, meal preparation, feeding, shopping, and providing transportation to appointments.
  • Carry out additional household tasks as specified in the client’s care plan.
  • Document daily activities and report to your supervisor using the agency management system and daily logs. Utilize various communication methods as needed, including phone calls and face-to-face interactions.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA at Comprehensive Care, you will also be expected to:

  • Adhere to safety protocols in all activities involving clients.
  • Be capable of lifting or pushing weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Exhibit honesty, accountability, and integrity in all interactions.
  • Deliver exceptional care to clients.
  • Remain observant of any changes in client conditions or care needs.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company policies.
  • Be punctual for scheduled shifts and notify of any changes promptly.
  • Report any suspected abuse or neglect immediately as per legal requirements.
  • Document any unusual behaviors, events, or conditions.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all records and correspondence.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
