Key Responsibilities- Operate assembly equipment in Devices departments to ensure high-quality products.
- Perform line clearance, quality checks, and machine parameter verification to maintain production efficiency.
- Ensure raw materials, printing, and packaging materials are ready for production to meet customer demands.
- Challenge vision system, USON Tester, Welders, and Silicon system per operating procedures to ensure product or process acceptability.
- Use blueprints, specifications, Bill of Materials, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure product or process acceptability.
- Stack-off master cartons and move finished goods with forklift to maintain a smooth production process.
- Troubleshoot equipment and make required adjustments and minor equipment repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
- Participate in and complete all required training to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the working area and 6S responsibilities as assigned to ensure a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or Equivalency required. Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude required to operate assembly equipment.
- Capability to comprehend and interpret computer control documents and specifications.
- Computer proficiency and ability to use software applications.
- Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
- Trained as forklift driver preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. This position has a salary range of $42,000.00 to $48,000.00 per year, depending on relevant skills, experience, and location.
