Job Overview

At Champion Fire Protection, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, backflow preventers, and hydrants.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated at $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Fire Sprinkler Systems: Perform regular inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, backflow preventers, and hydrants to ensure they are functioning properly and meet industry standards.
  • Maintain Inspection Records: Maintain accurate and complete records of inspections and tests performed, including documentation of any deficiencies or issues found.
  • Coordinate Deficiency Corrections: Coordinate with our service team to address any system deficiencies or issues found during inspections.
Requirements
  • NFPA 25 Certification: Comprehensive knowledge of NFPA 25 and ability to apply it in the field.
  • NICET II/III Certification: NICET II or III certification in fire protection technology.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and time management skills to effectively coordinate with colleagues and clients.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license to travel to client sites as needed.
