Candidate Profile:

Program Details:
This position is limited to a maximum of 19 hours per week, with potential for increased hours during short periods, not exceeding 40 hours in any week. Any hours beyond 19 must receive prior approval.

The internship may continue as long as the student remains enrolled in their educational program, with total hours worked each fiscal year not surpassing 999 hours.

Key Duties:
- Perform various administrative support tasks such as conducting research, gathering data, and preparing spreadsheets.

Qualifications:
Internship candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or university program with a focus on Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to public service and shared values.

Must be eligible to work in the United States as per U.S. Immigration Laws and possess a valid Class C Driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates should be able to transition between stationary and mobile positions, operate necessary tools and equipment, and transport items weighing up to 25 lbs. Visual and auditory acuity is required for tasks related to railroad operations.

Working Environment:
This position involves work in a standard office setting with minimal exposure to excessive noise or temperature. Additional work may occur in outdoor environments, construction sites, and railroad areas, where exposure to loud noises and moving mechanical parts may be present.
