Job Summary

The Janitorial Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the building. This role requires flexibility to take on non-routine cleaning tasks and special projects as needed. Key responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as cleaning windows and mirrors. Additionally, the Janitorial Assistant will clean bathrooms, restock supplies, and maintain janitorial storage areas. This position also involves assisting with setup and cleanup for special events and maintaining outdoor areas such as the parking lot and break area.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and previous janitorial or maintenance experience. Strong time management skills and ability to follow instructions accurately are required. The ability to communicate in English and perform routine maintenance on building systems is also necessary. This role requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Schedule
