As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will join a nationwide team that services thousands of vehicles daily, fostering customer loyalty that lasts for generations. Your exceptional communication skills and automotive expertise will be complemented by cutting-edge technology, enabling you to identify sales opportunities that ensure the safety of drivers on the road.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Schedule, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments to ensure a seamless service experience.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Welcome customers warmly upon their arrival.
- Assess vehicle requirements based on customer information, inspections, and test drives.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to assist customers in planning for necessary vehicle maintenance.
- Create repair orders for customers, providing transparent cost and time estimates.
- Maintain regular communication with technicians and parts associates to guarantee timely service completion.
- Update customers on their vehicle status according to their preferred communication method.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
- Acquire in-depth product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience to enhance loyalty.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Able to set and meet targeted objectives.
- Prior sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to follow up with customers proactively.
- Experience and enthusiasm for working with technology.
- Valid in-state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
