Job Summary:

Signature Protection Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the client site to identify and report any security breaches or incidents.
  • Monitor and control access to the client site or facility, ensuring that only authorized personnel are granted entry.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate logs and reports of security incidents and activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must meet minimum requirements of state licensing for security guard employment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation and a smartphone.
  • Must submit to and pass a drug test, extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment, and education verifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
  • Ability to walk for long periods at a time and climb stairs for certain positions.
  • Ability to handle all weather conditions.
  • Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to situations quickly.
  • Ability to identify and handle stressful situations.
  • Attention to detail.
