KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Measure and weigh ingredients meticulously as per specified formulas and documented procedures using calibrated scales.
  • Ensure that all components are weighed and stored in the appropriate sanitized containers.
  • Clean, sanitize, and prepare all necessary manufacturing equipment utilized in the production of cosmetic and beverage batches, adhering to cGMP standards.
  • Formulate lotions, creams, shampoos, soaps, and beverages by accurately combining and mixing ingredients according to prescribed formulas and procedures.
  • Operate the Drum Manipulator to transfer ingredients into holding tanks or containers without any waste.
  • Effectively manage processing equipment such as pumps, tanks, and mixers.
  • Collect product samples from tanks for laboratory testing.
  • Verify adherence to formulas and procedures by initialing batch sheets and signing tank cards for each product compounded.
  • Identify and report any improperly prepared batches to Supervisors immediately.
  • Correct any discrepancies in batch preparation by following established formulas and utilizing mathematical skills for problem-solving.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the compounding area at all times.
  • Safely operate a forklift to transport pallets, drums, and tanks within the department.
  • Utilize the current inventory management system for weighing purposes.
  • Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols diligently.
  • Adjust mixer speeds as necessary to ensure optimal mixing.
  • Perform minor maintenance on facilities and equipment, including cleaning air conditioning vents and removing insulation from pipework.
  • Provide support for colleagues during absences or when needed.
  • Assist packaging and laboratory staff as required.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
