We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing nutritional care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nutritional care plans based on assessment of nutritional needs and coordination with other healthcare team members.
- Communicate nutritional care plans through written records and provide education to patients and families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, and food selection.
- Provide professional guidance and assistance to non-professional staff and develop and implement nutritional educational programs.
- Participate in healthcare team rounds and conduct independent special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics required.
- Registered Dietitian certification required.
- Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
The salary range for this position is $39.41-$40.31/hour. Compensation may be modified in the future based on various factors, including location, specialty, and years of relevant experience.
