Job Summary
Vaughan Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med Surg 3 Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current Alabama RN licensure or compact license that includes AL.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire date.
