We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Boston for a 13-week assignment. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment with a mix of day and evening shifts, along with rotating weekends.

  • The role focuses on ensuring high-quality pharmacy services to inpatients and contributing to clinical rounds as needed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Medication Verification: Review and verify medication orders, including intravenous (IV) medications.
  • IV Preparation: Hands-on experience with IV-making is highly preferred, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and safety in the preparation process.
  • Pharmacy Systems: Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records (EMR) management and Pyxis ES for medication dispensing.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nursing staff, and pharmacy technicians to optimize patient care and medication therapies.
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective use of medications across various departments, following established protocols and best practices.
Requirements
  • At least 1+ year of inpatient clinical pharmacy experience.
  • An active pharmacist license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain.
  • Hands-on experience with IV-making, medication verification, and clinical rounding is highly valued.
  • A team player able to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.

This assignment offers a flexible schedule with rotating weekends and the possibility of conversion to a permanent position.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
