We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at Riverwood Healthcare Center.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing the nutrition care of our patients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as our center's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement dietary programs and activities that meet the nutritional needs of our patients.
- Coordinate dietary services with other departments, including Nursing, Housekeeping, and Social Services.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient nutrition plans and dietary services statistics.
- Collaborate with the Culinary Services Manager to ensure safe and accurate food service is provided to patients.
- Develop and maintain written dietary policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in dietetics or a related field.
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a dietitian in this state.
- Two or more years of experience in a skilled nursing care facility (preferred).
