GuildCare Director

We are looking for a highly qualified Program Director to lead our GuildCare program in Manhattan, serving adults who are blind or visually impaired and have chronic healthcare needs.

About the Role: As the Program Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of program operations, budget, and staffing. You will ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, develop policies and procedures, and provide program nursing care as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations related to Adult Day Health Care (ADHC).
2. Develop and implement program and services.
3. Establish administrative and nursing policies and procedures.
4. Provide nursing care as needed.
5. Maintain the health and vision enhancement focus of the ADHCP.
6. Maintain required administrative records and statistics.
7. Supervise program staff and perform job evaluations.
8. Assign and supervise activities of all personnel.
9. Monitor program quality and maintain accepted standards.

Requirements:

• Registered nurse with BS or BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in nursing care and supervision or, experience in an adult day health care program serving special populations.
• Familiar with NYS Dept. of Health regulations.
