Job Summary

Twin City Staffing is seeking an experienced electrical assembly candidate for a dynamic company in the Chaska area. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing electrical wiring and assembling components according to blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand electrical/mechanical schematics
  • Lay out diagrams for electrical installations according to wiring specifications
  • Install and wire devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, transmitters, etc.
  • Cut, strip, bend, and form wire cable, conduit, pipe, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies
  • Connect color-coded wires, using mirrors in compact areas
  • Solder connections and crimp connectors to wire ends
  • Adjust electrical assemblies as required
  • Discuss errors in diagrams or during production with electrical lead or engineer to clarify assembly problems
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
