About the Job

This travel PICU nurse position is available in Tacoma, WA, and offers a 13-week contract with a competitive pay package. As a travel nurse with Focus Staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a reputable and experienced staffing agency that prioritizes the needs of its travelers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a PICU setting, 2 years preferred
  • Valid WA RN license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Eligible to work in the United States
