About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Tech II to join our team at Sovah Health - Martinsville. As a Surgical Tech II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure the good working order of equipment and instruments.
  • Continually account for the number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology.
  • Certification as a Surgical Tech required; must be Licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine as a Surgical Tech.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
