About the Position:
Sutter Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will work closely with nursing staff to ensure the efficient preparation and distribution of medications. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory levels, handling STAT and emergency requests, and coordinating dispensing and distribution activities. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and distribute medications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of medication preparation and distribution.
• Provide support to nursing staff and other departments as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance and control processes to ensure optimal patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with current medical practices, F.D.A. guidelines, and pharmaceutical industry developments.

Education and Qualifications:
A PHARMD-Licensed Pharmacist degree or equivalent experience is required. Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred, as well as residency or fellowship experience. Strong communication skills and computer knowledge are essential for success in this role. The estimated annual salary for this position is $145,000.
