Position Overview:
HOME2SUITES BY HILTON ASHEVILLE AIRPORT is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff.
The Security Officer will oversee the implementation of our Security and Emergency Services Programs, which encompass Safety, Emergency Medical Response, and Preparedness.
Compensation:
Starting at $17.00/hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of the property, manage the gatehouse, and respond to both emergency and routine service calls.
Ensure compliance with all traffic and parking regulations.Address calls for assistance from dispatch and security personnel.
Provide immediate care during medical emergencies, utilizing basic interventions as per established protocols.
Investigate reports of lost items, theft, vandalism, and other suspicious activities.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents, and complete detailed incident reports using our online reporting system.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Previous experience in Security or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.

Current Emergency Medical Responder certification is required (higher certifications are acceptable, but new hires must obtain EMR certification within 30 days).*All required licenses and certifications must be maintained as a condition of employment.
