The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Toolroom Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production and engineering departments, you will be responsible for supporting the fabrication of tooling, molds, dies, and other equipment. Your expertise will be essential in managing internal employees and external suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the fabrication of tooling and equipment, ensuring compliance with budgeted guidelines and project completion dates.
  • Plan and coordinate resources to meet project requirements, including tool design, fabrication, and testing.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal productivity and quality.
  • Implement and maintain company policies, including safety, attendance, training, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing departments to improve processes and reduce costs.
  • Provide cost estimates for new projects and equipment.
  • Supervise the fabrication of prototype parts for engineering and operations evaluation.
  • Assist the Engineering Department with design and automation concepts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or commensurate experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience, with a proven track record of leadership and success.
  • Extensive experience in managing internal employees and external suppliers.
  • Tool and Die Journeyman certificate preferred.
  • SolidWorks experience is a plus.
