We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director/Center Physician to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing medical oversight and ensuring the health and safety of our donors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical oversight and guidance to Medical Staff Associates
- Conduct screening medical evaluations and assess donor suitability
- Review and sign medical incident reports and donor records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with center management and quality unit to maintain high medical standards
- Train and evaluate Medical Staff Associates
- Provide medical oversight for donor suitability and respond to donor inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor information
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
- Current and active medical license in the state where the center is located
- One year of residency training as an MD or OD
- Familiarity with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and company Plasma Operating Procedures
This role requires frequent standing and walking, as well as the ability to make decisions that impact the department's credibility, operations, and services. You will also be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas.
