About the Role:

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scanning Coordinator to join our team. As a Scanning Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining price files, shelf tag accuracy, and signage for our stores. You will oversee item pricing and merchandise additions and deletions, while also assisting customers as needed and maintaining a friendly, energetic demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all shelf tags for product items, replacing and updating as necessary.
  • Activate price changes daily in the computer.
  • Execute timely promotions, ensuring that sale items are accurately tagged and information is coordinated with department managers.
  • Inform Support Staff and Store Director concerning any scanning inaccuracies and errors.
  • Work with customers to fulfill their needs, requests, and special orders.
  • Respond to customer suggestions and complaints.
  • Prepare and submit all required paperwork and reports.
  • Assist with the upkeep of the cleanliness of the store by mopping, sweeping, etc.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency degree.
  • Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience in Store Support department processes and procedures.
  • Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.
