Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist at Sentara, you will perform general diagnostic radiologic and Fluoro imaging studies of patients, working within the scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician. Your responsibilities will include positioning patients for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operating radiation producing equipment, and preparing patient rooms/equipment/medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic radiologic imaging studies of patients, including positioning and operating equipment.
  • Prepare patient rooms/equipment/medications for imaging studies.
  • Work under the direction of a qualified physician to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.

Requirements:

  • TS - Trade School Graduate (Required)
  • ARRT Radiography(R) - Certification - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
