Alaska Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN to join our team.

Job Summary

This role involves providing assistance with all invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures in the cath lab. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care.

You will be responsible for all testing and therapeutics that take place in the cath lab, including cardiac catheterizations and/or coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural Heart (LAAC, TAVR) procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients through all aspects of procedures, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
  • Demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized, and function well under stressful situations.
Requirements
  • Currentrunning license in good standing.
  • Associate's Degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred.
  • Two to three years of Cath Lab experience. Emergency Room / ICU experience preferred.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS).

Estimated salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
