Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology techniques.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct quality control procedures to ensure accurate and safe imaging results.
- Provide advanced imaging services, including cardiac and vascular imaging.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met.
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Two (2) years of experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.
- Current registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- BLS certification.
- Advanced knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Experience with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
