Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will take charge of project design and coordination efforts.

  • Collaborate with various teams within the organization to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects and outstanding service to our clients.
  • Engage in client meetings to present design concepts and summarize project tasks.
  • Prepare initial design layouts and finalize design plans and specifications for large-scale and intricate transportation projects.
  • Compile, write, and edit documentation for design-build initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of proposals, project budgets, and timelines, while also engaging with governmental entities at the State, County, and City levels. Supervise the work of other Professional Engineers, Engineers in Training, and Technicians.

As you progress in your career, you will have the opportunity to lead multiple teams, manage several complex projects, identify new opportunities, develop project strategies, oversee the proposal process, and effectively manage project budgets and schedules while marketing to and securing work from both new and existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, along with five or more years of relevant experience.
  • A Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within six months is mandatory.
  • Experience with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is essential.
  • Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary.
  • Ideal candidates will possess strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent client relationship management, and a robust work ethic. Leadership experience is highly valued.
