Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Cleaning Associate to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a Store Cleaning Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive customer experience, and adhering to all operational and loss prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate floor care equipment, including scrubbers and buffers, to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, and vacuum floors to ensure a clean and organized store.
  • Dust and spot clean glass and windows to maintain a clean and attractive store appearance.
  • Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards to ensure a safe and secure store environment.
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the store to support business needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support and respond to all Front End coverage needs, including answering customer questions and resolving issues.
  • Communicate effectively with management and associates to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with customers and associates.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor care equipment.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changing situations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with management and associates.

This position has a starting pay range of $12.00 to $12.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
