Welder Specialist

Paradigm Precision, a leading manufacturer of complex fabrication and precision machined components, seeks a skilled Welder II to join its team.

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using various welding techniques and operating advanced equipment, including robotic and CNC machines.

• Operate welding equipment to fabricate and assemble materials based on job specifications, utilizing techniques such as Tig, Plasma, Fusion, Resistance, Auto, Electron-beam, and Stud.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
• Inspect welds visually and dimensionally using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Manufacture and maintain component parts and fixtures as required, consistently meeting specific tolerances and dimensions.
• Check parts using specified gages or fixtures to ensure dimensions are being maintained.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all applicable safety rules and precautions.

• 3+ years of relevant experience working with various metals, including exotic metals.
• Trade-qualified with recognized apprenticeship.
• Ability to read, write, and speak standard English.
• Mathematical skills to perform calculations and measurements.
• Working knowledge of shop geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Professional welding certification.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of welding experience.

This is a 1st shift role, Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
