As a Diagnostician for Special Education, you will play a critical role in evaluating students referred for evaluation of suspected educational disabilities. Your expertise will be essential in developing educational plans to meet the specific needs of students who qualify for special education services.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate students referred for evaluation of suspected educational disabilities
- Develop educational plans to meet the specific needs of students who qualify for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure students receive appropriate support
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in special education
- Master's degree in special education or related field
- Arizona Special Education Certification
- Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience in psycho-educational assessment
- OR recent years of diagnostic test administration experience aimed at determining special education eligibility in a public school setting
- Structured English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement
- Experience as a bilingual evaluator
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
- Must hold a current Driver's license and personal vehicle insurance coverage greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance
- Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of auto insurance policy
