Experience: Minimum 1 year, unit accepts first-time travelers
License: GA or Compact license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS (TNCC preferred)
Job Requirements:
- Compliance with health and facility regulations
- Required to work every other weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- Expectation to work one major holiday if it falls in the assignment
- Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Floating within the facility based on skillset
- Fully compliant prior to starting; non-compliance results in a two-week push back due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Orientation involves 13 hours of non-billable training
- Patient population includes neonates to geriatrics in the emergency room
- Candidates must submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing to ensure an on-time start
- Previous experience at the facility requires a one-year absence to return as a traveler
- Requires two supervisory references, preferably from a manager or higher
