Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and preparation for cardiovascular procedures, including ultrasound imaging and post-procedure care.
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality assurance.
  • Generate high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and vascular structures, providing critical diagnostic information for patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
