Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Python to join our team at PriceSenz. In this role, you will leverage your experience to develop proof of concepts, create API specifications, and contribute to innovative projects. Your work will involve close collaboration with data scientists and the engineering team to deliver efficient and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proof of Concept Development: Design and develop POCs using Python and frontend technologies to demonstrate feasibility and functionality.
  • API Design and Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented APIs, ensuring they meet our business needs and technical requirements.
  • Data Integration: Work with data scientists to perform simple ETL processes and integrate data into applications.
  • Visualization and Presentation: Assist in coding visualizations to present data insights effectively.
  • Cloud Deployment and Management: Deploy applications on cloud platforms, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and efficient.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Write comprehensive API specifications and code documentation to facilitate future development and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong focus on Python.
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
  • Experience in developing and deploying APIs.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization libraries.
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
