Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing daily and monthly financial reports, explaining variances to plan, prior year, and forecast. You will also ensure consistency of data and presentation with others, providing value-added reporting and analytics to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily and monthly financial reports, including variances to plan, prior year, and forecast.
  • Ensure consistency of data and presentation with others.
  • Provide value-added reporting and analytics to management.
  • Work closely with supervisory roles to ensure accuracy of department financials during monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
  • Perform tasks such as bank reconciliation, rebate processing, account analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations, as well as cross-departmental training.
  • Assist the VP of Finance with forecasts and budgets as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience or work toward accounting degree.
