Speech-Language Impairment Specialist

Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Impairment Specialist to join our team in Shiprock, New Mexico. As an SLI Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing intervention for students with speech and language impairments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs, and develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address these needs.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance communication strategies and promote student success.
• Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services and support to students to improve their speech and language skills.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of experience as an interpreter
• Competitive rate of $34-$38 per hour (based on experience)
• Full-time, 30-40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, following typical school hours (8 AM to 3 PM)
