Interventional Procedure Nurse

Aptive Resources is seeking a skilled Interventional Procedure Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Interventional Procedure Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing nursing care and support to patients undergoing various interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Procedural Preparation: Assess patients' medical histories, current health status, and procedural requirements. Educate patients and their families about the procedure, potential risks, and expected outcomes.
- Intra-Procedural Assistance: Assist physicians and interventionalists during procedures by providing sterile instruments, monitoring patient vital signs, and anticipating procedural needs.
- Patient Monitoring and Support: Monitor patients' physiological responses during procedures, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygenation levels.
- Post-Procedural Care: Monitor patients post-procedure for complications, such as bleeding, allergic reactions, or adverse effects from anesthesia or contrast agents.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of pre-procedure assessments, intra-procedural care, post-procedure outcomes, and medications administered.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care throughout the procedural experience.
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted RN license from any state in the United States.
- Certification: Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate accredited by the American Heart Association.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years prior experience in a procedural area such as radiology, GI Lab, etc.
- Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
