Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible orthopedic trauma surgeon with fellowship training to enhance our expanding orthopedic division. Our facility is recognized as a Level III Trauma Center, offering comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary services. The primary duties encompass both inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities focused on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with musculoskeletal injuries. The ideal candidate must demonstrate procedural proficiency to improve the functionality of patients' affected areas, facilitate recovery from injuries, and alleviate discomfort, addressing both chronic and acute conditions.
This full-time position is part of our distinguished physician-led, hospital-based organization. Our orthopedic team comprises over one hundred healthcare providers, creating a robust network for referrals.
The orthopedic practices at Bon Secours Mercy Health are expanding, currently including three employed orthopedic surgeons with specializations in sports medicine, adult reconstruction, and orthopedic spine. The practice is witnessing growth and provides four outpatient locations for enhanced patient accessibility. The call schedule entails 7 days per month at our trauma center, with a weekend rotation of 1:4/5 and holiday responsibilities.
