Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Wyoming Department of Corrections - Medium Correctional Facility in Torrington, WY. The successful candidate will have an active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in WY, with at least one year of experience, and will be responsible for providing direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological, and emotional needs of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Direct and Indirect Medical Care: Obtain history and perform physical examinations, formulate diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe treatments based on diagnosis
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Active, Unrestricted License: As a Nurse Practitioner in WY
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar role
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
