Job Title: Adjunct Welding Professor

Grayson College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Welding Professor to provide classroom and lab instruction in a welding technology program.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach welding courses, including FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and Oxyfuel welding, brazing, and cutting.
  • Work as a team member in the Workforce Education Department, adhering to college policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to campus assessment processes, measuring and reporting student learning outcomes to meet THECB Core Objectives and SACSCOC requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean and Department Chair.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in welding technologies.
  • Minimum of three years of welding experience.
  • Five years of industry experience and classroom teaching preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process and commitment to student success.
  • Collegial attitude with the college community and outside entities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience tracking student learning outcomes, analyzing data, and implementing improvement plans.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a moderate physical environment with occasional exposure to objectionable conditions.
