About the Role

The Detroit Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team as a Lead CT Technologist. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in computed tomography and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the CT department, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
  • Supervise and guide CT Technologists in performing diagnostic procedures, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain high-quality imaging standards, ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance patient care and staff productivity.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Two years of progressively more responsible CT Technologist work experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
