Occupational Therapist

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain functional independence.
About the RoleThis position involves assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, creating personalized treatment plans, and delivering individualized therapy sessions aimed at maximizing functional independence. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and their support systems to develop effective care plans and provide education/training on various aspects of patient rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including initial assessments, daily notes, reassessments/progress reports, and discharge plans
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and support systems to ensure seamless care delivery
- Provide education/training on ADLs/IADLs, therapeutic activities, rehabilitation equipment prescription and training, community reintegration, and other relevant topics
- Oversee support staff, including COTA and OT aides, to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, Doctorate preferred
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid CPR certification
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Competitive salary: $73,000 - $93,000 per year
- Up to $7,500 sign-on bonus
