Radiology Technologist
Providence is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using proper radiation safety practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiographic techniques and protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire.
- National Provider Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 2 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
