Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II PRN to join our team at CHI St. Joseph Health – College Station/Bryan TX. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiography procedures on patients, maintaining patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care.

As a Radiologic Technologist II PRN, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, from routine exams to complex interventional procedures. You will be expected to maintain a high level of technical proficiency, adhere to departmental protocols, and communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiography procedures on patients, including positioning, calibration, and documentation of findings.
  • Maintain patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, and adherence to departmental policies.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care.
  • Assist patients with basic patient care needs and provide emergency care as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of imaging experience, including training.
  • ARRT (R) certification and MRT licensure.
