Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Radiology Imaging Specialist to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Radiology Technologist (RT) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
