We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Coordinator for Hemodialysis Care. This is an entry-level position that offers a unique opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Summary

The Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care for patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. This includes assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care, as well as delegating tasks to direct patient care staff. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient outcomes
  • Delegates tasks to direct patient care staff, including RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administers medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithms
  • Initiates or assists with emergency response measures as needed
  • Participates in staff training and orientation of new staff members
  • Ensures accurate laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures
  • Required to complete CAP requirements to advance

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current appropriate state licensure
  • Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (Preferred)
  • Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (Preferred)

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
