Technical Lead for Cloud Solutions

Oracle is seeking a talented Technical Lead to join our team of innovators. As a critical member of our cloud solutions division, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge technology that transforms the way we work and interact with our customers.

About the Role

  • You will lead the development of full-stack web applications, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product, to define specifications and drive the development of new features.
  • Design and implement web services and application backend microservices, leveraging your expertise in cloud computing platforms, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services.
  • Develop and maintain software applications or operating systems, utilizing your knowledge of Linux/Unix development, Oracle database, MySQL, CI/CD tools, and containerization technologies.
  • Guide the team on best practices, constraints, and standards in a web platform environment, promoting code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve performance, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Participate in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures within the software engineering division.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of development experience, with a strong background in cloud computing, containerization, and CI/CD tools.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Linux/Unix development, Oracle database, MySQL, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services.
  • Experience with programming languages like Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React/Preact.
  • Knowledge of ITIL V3, Foundation Level certification preferred.
