We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Cambria Waco Hotel in Waco, TX.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about cooking and want to enhance their culinary skills in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of food safety standards and procedures, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality food items in accordance with specific recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures and regulations
  • Check and restock food supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen has sufficient supplies and ingredients
  • Ensure all food items are prepared and served in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Communicate with kitchen staff, servers, and supervisors on production, food quality, and service performance

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service is beneficial but not mandatory
  • A solid understanding of food safety standards and procedures is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • The ability to follow instructions accurately and make sound decisions is crucial
  • Exposure to Steakhouse environments is preferred but not mandatory
