The ideal candidate should have between 3 to 6 years of experience in civil litigation, coupled with a strong work ethic, readiness to travel, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A positive attitude and keen attention to detail are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

The role encompasses a variety of paralegal functions to assist multiple attorneys, including:

  • Obtaining medical and investigative records through necessary authorizations and/or subpoenas
  • Reviewing medical records and preparing comprehensive summaries
  • Overseeing and tracking deadlines in accordance with regulations, court preferences, or client instructions
  • Assisting in trial preparation by organizing witness and exhibit lists
  • Drafting responses to basic discovery requests, pleadings, and motions
  • Keeping precise records of document productions from all parties involved
  • Coordinating depositions, hearings, inspections, and other case-related meetings
  • Providing professional and courteous assistance to clients with a focus on exceptional service
  • Excelling in a collaborative work environment

Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills, a solid understanding of local, state, and federal regulations, the ability to comprehend and follow client directives, familiarity with e-filing (in local and federal courts) and e-service, and a proactive mindset. Proficiency in software applications is essential, particularly in the MS Office Suite. Previous experience with Total Office (formerly Client Profiles) is a plus.
